Stan was raised on a Saskatchewan mixed farm. He was an owner operator of a grain farm in west central Saskatchewan for 28 years. In winter months Stan did accounting work and farm plans. In 2004, after renting the farm, Stan started practicing accounting & consulting on a full-time basis. Stan is an original member of the Saskatoon chapter of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors (CAFA), and has served on the executive in numerous rolls, including Chair for two years.
